Withdrawal of Applications for Premature Retirement
According to “Note 1” below Article 465-B/CSR**, a written intimation once submitted by a government servant who intends to retire after completing 25 years service qualifying for pension, shall be final and shall not be allowed to be modified or withdrawn.
- The matter has been examined, in consultation with the Law Division and the Finance Division, and it has been decided that, in partial modification of the existing rules/orders, if a government servant withdraws his application for premature retirement or modifies the date of retirement, before its acceptance by the competent authority, the application or the date of retirement shall be deemed to have been withdrawn or modified, as the case may be.
